...the daily adventures of an expatriated American housewife living in Gunma Prefecture, Japan.  My husband and I moved from upstate South Carolina to Japan in May 2011 for what is scheduled to be a 3-5 year stay.  Our daughter Cora was born in Tokyo in September 2012.  This blog is mainly for family and friends to read, but as time goes on I will try post useful information to help future expats. 

99.9% of the photos on the blog are my own, but if you have a problem with anything you see or read please email me with your concerns (also note that I am not an expert on Japan and don't claim to be so take everything you read  on here with a grain of salt). :)
